Memorial Service, Live Today at 10:30 Eastern DST

Please go to the St. Luke website to watch the service live. It will later be posted on this site.

Pre-service video roll begins at 9:00 a.m. Eastern DST, the service begins at 10:30 a.m. Eastern DST. This is the same time zone as New York City and Atlanta, if that is helpful.

Many thanks to my wonderful husband for coordinating and executing much of the streaming as well as the video. Another huge thanks to Pastor Evelyn Harris who suggested we have this service. I had never heard of such a thing, and had to think about it before saying yes. And thanks to all our dear friends here and across the world, many of whom have only known Lexi through her blog, for all their love and support both during her illness and since her passing. It has truly given me strength to keep going.

Now, tune in, worship with us, and celebrate the life of one very special dog.

  3. I am so glad the streaming worked. We had a lot of unexpected difficulties getting to that point, including our truck breaking down yesterday and having to deal with that and not having a way of moving the big screen and all the extra time Jeff put into the truck he had planned on putting into the pre-service video. Things happen. But at least the service got streamed without a problem.

  5. Yes, that prologue got me crying all over again and I couldn’t walk out like I was supposed to at that point. A lot of folks were crying at that point. It was good closure, even though Lexi will continue to hold my heart in her paws.

  6. What a truly lovely service. Loved the Somewhere Over The Rainbow being played at the end. I will never eat another apple without thinking of your magnificent Lexi. So glad Annabelle was not your pick. We were glad to be able to attend Lex’s service via the internet. Blessings.
