One of my blogging friends posted this. She has MS, and is an amazing young woman. Also, if you don’t already know her English Bulldog, Nugget, I highly recommend you stop by for a visit.

How much do you know about MS? I decided with it being MS Awareness Month I would share a great website I follow it’s called Positive Living With MS by Penelope Conway the link is below. Thank you! I posted it to my Facebook page. (Lexi would never have worn the robe – hated clothes!)

Our dog walker has MS, she can no longer walk the dogs but has hired others and manages a thriving business. Such a cruel blow though for anyone. This next bit is totally off topic but saw today on the news and couldn’t help but think of Lexi. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/03/09/cute-pup-adopted-by-monastery-melts-hearts-around-world.html

As with my older son’s particular mental illness, we can keep hoping and praying for a cure in our lifetimes. Wonderful discoveries are made every day.

Sherri-Ellen, you do the best you can, including raising a wonderful “feral” cat, LOL! (You know I am just mimicking some ridiculous vet.) Give my love to S.H.

MS tends to be predominantly in northern latitudes. You rarely see MS closer to the equator. No one knows why specifically though. Yes, I poked around Nugget’s blog, thank you again for sharing their story. 😍

I had to look in the urban dictionary, and then I remembered. Too bad. 😦

I wonder why MS in CO is so high? Thanks for visiting at Nugget’s site. More good people and an interesting read.

Since Colorado has one of the highest incidences of MS diagnosis’ and because my sister-in-law has it, we try to keep up with the latest news. Thank you for shedding a light on this dreadful and disabling disease. Knowledge is critical especially as this illness affects everyone around-not just the patient. BTW, that was great info and I’ve left a comment at Nuggets Drooling too. Education is the first step toward coping with this disease.

Amy when I was immobile back in 1999 & ended up in a wheelchair that was one of the 1st things I was tested for! My Doctor was sure I had MS.
I did not have it & after 2 1/2 years I was finally diagnosed.
What the Specialists told me is that my 3 illnesses when active together mimic MS. Very very very scary I can tell you.
I am not as brave as your friend. I just do what I can to stay upright & I admire people with MS who somehow manage to make their lives livable!!!

I’m sorry to hear about Helena. Sneaky and unexpected are perfect words to describe MS. I often call it a cruel disease for the pain it puts me through. The fact that there is no cure is another hurdle to live with.
Thank you Amy for reposting this for me it means a lot:)
