Dear Mom, I am sorry for ripping the stuffing out of the couch cushion – three times. I felt so bad after you yelled at me and showed me what I had done wrong, I would have done anything to make it right. That’s why I went willingly to the guillotine bath. That’s why I even jumped in the tub by myself and didn’t make you pick me up and put me in it.

Please forgive me. I promise to not tear up the furniture again. I love you, Lucy

Dear Big Boy, I am sorry I lied to you about what I did with Achilles. When my snitching little sister told on me, I panicked. I was afraid you wouldn’t want to be my boyfriend anymore.

But lying is wrong. So is kissing other boys when I have a boyfriend. Please forgive me. I was a Bad Girl. Love, Lucy

  2. Oh dear… I will tell you what mommy told me about the destructive play. If you tear up your own toys instead of the house you get more treats and toys are easily replaced. I know you feel bad, it is written all over your face. You are so lucky you have such nice parents.

  6. LOL! Maybe we should arrange a kitty exchange! I think my problem with Dougy, inb particular, is I never had cats until after I retireed. I never learned the little tricks needed to train a cat not to scratch on furniture until after Dougy had the habit, then I failed at changing the behavior. You know, cat trees help reinforce the bad behavior by having carpet on them. “Well, it’s OK if I scratch the carpet on my cat tree….” I can just hear Dougy questioning my disciplinary efforts that way, the little brat! LOL!

  7. Oh Lucy, I missed the other postie, butts went back and saw what *cough* YOU did ~ good try in deflecting blame! BOL!!! I gots to say, i have not tasted the guts of the couch, butts I can only assume they do not taste likes chicken. Thus, I thinks you shouldn’t do that anymores, and your apology was PAWSOME, so i thinks your Moms will forgives you fursure.
    As for BB, I thinks he will forgives you too….who could resist those big puppy eyes!!!!

  10. It must have been a phase in the moon that turned you two into dogs for a short period of time.
    Lucky you guys weren’t affected for too long or there would be no couches left. Your apology was from the heart and your eyes showed mom how sincere you were. Isn’t it wonderful to have such forgiving friends and family. You are a very special girl Lucy Stay your sweet self.

    Years ago crazy might mini dachshund Toto got into similar fix…he raised his leg at the Christmas tree…I yelled…scared him and pp got all over him…he had to have a bath which he hated but that particular time he was submissive

  29. That’s the nice thing about bad doggies – they know it and feel bad about it wehern confronted. My kitty boys destroy furniture, then defy me by scratching on it right in front of me when I tell them they are being bad! LOL! It’s what happens when you aren’t named Cesar Millan or Jackson Galaxy….

  36. Lucy, you look so sad, can you believe some people say we, cats and dogs don´t think or understand , we just use our instincs. You show in the video that we think, we understand and we can be really sorry what we have done.
