Chia’s Awww Monday

Hi friends. Or are you? No one, no not one of you, has come to rescue me from jail. Well, I’m gonna just assume no one could get a ride…

I’ve accepted my fate, and just go in the kennel now when I come in from pottying. Then I get a kennel treat and sometimes whine for a while before I give up again. Oh, and I’m also being tortured with this plastic cone thing around my head.
Saturday night, Dad held me for a long time while he and Mom watched Netflix.

Can you see where I’m sewed back together right under Dad’s finger?

When he put me back in jail, he didn’t realize that Xena was in my kennel (jail). So I had to share it with her until Mom started looking for her at bedtime. Sunday morning when I got out of jail to go out to potty, I “cone slammed” Xena in the side of her head and neck and knocked her away from my kennel jail. Then I did it again. It worked. She stayed out of it all day.

I’m told I only have 2 more days left on my sentence before I’m released for good behavior. I still don’t know what I did to end up like this. But at least now I know that “getting spayed” means “you’re going to jail.”

I’m Chia the Convict, dictating this to Xena the Kennel Thief

Xena: And Chia says thanks to Miss Sandee at Comedy Plus for hosting Awww Monday and letting her tell her side of the story!

  2. Chia at well the good thing about the cone of shame is that you can see thru it and it has black trim to match your furs.
I know you’ll be glad to shed that cone and maybe you can get a cone of Ice Cream instead

  4. You are completely right! I tried to get Mama to fly me to Tennesee to rescue you, but she refused! Something about us turning into some crazy ladies called Thelma and Louise.

I hope the rest of your jail time goes quickly!

  5. Hello! We read on June and Ann’s blog, Zoolatry, that you’re ace reporters. That’s what we’re trying to be too, as we strive to fill our predecessor, Chester’s legacy here at The Daily Bone. We sure hope Chia feels better real soon and can get rid of that cone!

  10. Oh Chia! I, Walter, feel your pain as I has had to wear the cone of shame recently too. Fortunately for me I didn’t have to stay in a crate/jail, but I did use that same ramming technique on Millie a few times too. BOL!

  11. I don’t know, Marie, WP just always resonated with me. I think some of their themes are easier to use than others, as is some of their plugins.
I treat coming up for Chia! (dried lamb heart, mmmmm)

p.s. I tried to come free you but I think your humans put some kind of protective “shell” over your house because even I – Captain Fantastic Ted – couldn’t get through it to get you out of jail!
