Lucy’s Poetry on Valentine’s Day

Thanks to Angel Sammy for the fun picture this week. We’re posting a day early because of what today is! I don’t think Angel Sammy will mind. *wags*

The pup on the left represents me, Lucy. Now for my Valentine poem.
My Heart Belongs to Achilles    by Lucy

No, Brutus, you can’t kiss me
My heart belongs to Achilles.
I thought we were just playing
E’en though you gave me lilies.

Achilles is my boyfriend
The dog I’ve always dreamed of
If only we lived closer
All would know we’re so in love.

But Lucy, you wagged your tail.
You can’t do that to a male
And expect to walk away.
Look at me and don’t say nay.

I won’t look at you, you bad boy,
And I wasn’t being coy.
My Valentine awaits me.
I go now to mon cheri!

  5. Beau said you are lucky, he has no one to wag a tail at him or for him to wag his tail at. if only we had a transporter we could make things WORK…

  6. there are all kinds of love, all sorts of ways to show it, go figure …

oh, and happy hearts day, poetically speaking couldn’t think of a good rhyme,
    oh, wait … a rhyme:
be mine! any time! I’ll bring wine … we’ll entwine … and then,
    who knows what will happen?
