Thanks to Angel Brian who is hosting Thankful Thursday as well as Angel Sammy for the fun pictures every week. Mom said I’ve been a bit ignored lately, so I can do the blog today! Yay! And soon, very soon, I’ll have a new recipe for you, too.

Matilda and Me by Lucy
Hey, get this thing away from me.
It stinks and drools and may have a flea.
Matilda, you stink when you poop and pee.
If you want, she’ll be your loving puppy.
I don’t! Take me back to the nursery
Where I’ll be adopted by another family!
If we have to choose, we choose our Lucy
So goodbye, good luck and farewell to thee!
I’m so glad Mom picked me! Mom’s going out of town again this weekend to a funeral over near Nashville. She and Dad are spending the night and then visiting with our Auntie Jen and Uncle Bill. I sure wish I could go and be with my guy, Achilles, but there’s going to be too much commotion there with the funeral and all. I’m thankful that brother Andrew is here to take care of us! I love Andrew and my friend and brother Riley.
Xena: I’m kinda thankful that other schnauzer is gone. Mommy, my Mommy, would look down and see her standing next to her and think it was me… at least for a moment. How could she mistake another dog for me? I’m thankful I’m still Mommy’s baby girl.
Lucy: That’s all for this week. I’ll dig into Mom’s recipe box while she’s gone this weekend and get that other recipe I wanted to share. It’s another unusual one, BOL!

Hope your Mum and Dad are safe and staying dry. P.S. there’s no doubt we’d pick precious Lucy. We love her!

I think I DID hear you giggle, Miss Cecilia! *wags* Lucy (who doesn’t stink – only drools occasionally – and doesn’t have fleas)

That’s a great poem. We think having pups around is much better than having babies in the house.

Chaplin: “Pssst, Lucy, lick the baby. Dennis told us that Tucker told him that babies are messy eaters and so they usually taste good!”

ha ha ha on Baby Princess, perfect description. so glad Andrew can keep all of you, and no kennels needed. I would choose Lucy over a baby any time and much prefer dogs over babies… cute for short periods but I don’t want one
