Thanks to Comedy Plus for hosting Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop!
Xena: The second day we were there, me and Lucy got to go out to our Aunt Bobbie’s and Uncle Dennis’ hobby farm. They live way out in the country in “Amish Country.” It’s so much fun running around their great big yard. They are down to just one sheep and a coupla goats. I didn’t bother them this time. Right next door there were a couple of horses, way down at the other end of the pasture. Me and Lucy, we started barking at them, then we saw a way to crawl under the electrified fence. Mommy didn’t get a picture of any of it, but here is a picture that ChatGPT5 made. Like I said, the horses were much further away that it shows here.

Anyhoo, we got to the inside of the fence and took off running after the horses. That was so much fun…until they turned around and started chasing us! We ran back and under the fence as fast as our legs could carry us!
Finally, we got up late on Sunday – the day we were supposed to leave – and left for home around 9:30 in the morning. Chia slept in the back in the kennel, with Lucy next to her on the seat. Can you guess where I slept?

Hoping everyone has a good Wednesday.
We didn’t know horses chased dogs…until now, BOL! XOX Xena and Chia

Lulu: “I used to live on a ranch with horses! I was kept in a pen but I would escape sometimes and then I would chase the horses, too. It was all in good fun, just like with you guys, although I’m not sure the horses quite agree with us …”

WOWZERS! You got to see real live horses!!! I know you had a blast on your visit but I also know that going home was nice too. After all – “there’s no place like home” and no better place to rest while traveling than ON A LAP!

Being chased by a full-grown horse is scary, I’m glad you got back under the fence. I’ll bet it was still a great place to visit.

Those horses chasing us was even scarier than the racoon in the attic! XOX Xena

I’m glad to hear you two made it back outside the fence before those horses caught up with you. You look all tuckered out from your adventure.

If’n you’d gone West to Mishi-wakie you could’ve met my grandpup Tegan a cute little rescue, and somewhere in the Fort of Wayne are the “Tabbies of the Towne of Trout” but they might have been out fishin’! But happy you had a happy trip, saw some wild & crazy farm critters and a leg of jean! And the most important of all: Family peoples.
