Thanks to The Cat on My Head for hosting Sunday selfies!
Hi everyone.

I have a confession to make. I am addicted to eating stones. I am now an official stoneaholic. And even worse, I was asking Chia to enjoy them with me. We have all been banned from the dog lot and the back yard, where stones are abundant for the swallowing. I may have to go to SA* Meetings.
Wishing everyone a stone-less Sunday. Lucy, the Stoner.

Hi Miss Sandra! Mom said she’s not going to get the dog lot paved…or the back yard. I’m just going to have to go out front where there’s lots of grass, or sometimes in the dog lot with her watching me. I don’t like her standing there watching me… Lucy

oh no Lucy, this is not good. I remember years ago when a blogger friend had a large dog that swallowed stones and she had to pave her backyard because it made him sick and he had to have surgery… Beau eats peanut shells, poop, bird or dog or raccoon and small avocados which all makes him sick…

Mom told me horror stories of when she worked for a vet. One dog who was just a bit bigger than me came in 2 or 3 times for surgery because he was also a stoner. *shudder* Lucy

I swallow the smaller ones…whole. Or at least I used to before I was banned from anywhere there are stones…Lucy

Please be care Lucy or you might end up at the vet. I sure wouldn’t want to hear you had to have surgery to remove those stones from your belly.

Ouch! Stones hurt teeth and tummies, I don’t know how you get them down. In fact, I hope you won’t any more.

Reiko loves to run out at supersonic speed, grab one pebble and bring it back into the house and fling it across the floor. Then she ignores it. Strange dog.

I know. But neither is alcohol, or drugs….*sigh* I think I’m going through withdrawals…

Well Moms know a lot of stuff about what’s good and what’s not so good to munch on – that plant you have your eye on might give you a bad tummy ache or – well – a “potty issue” !! Be careful!

OK, I’ve got my eye on this plant growing out front where I get to go now instead of the dog lot. Mom keeps telling me to leave it alone when I try to taste it, though. XOX Lucy

No, I didn’t go to the vet. Mom kept watching to make sure everything was “moving” in the right direction. I just have to keep up my Stoneaholic program…no wandering in the dog lot by myself. *wags* Lucy

Lucy – dear girl – confession may be good for the soul but rocks are NEVER good for the tummy! Time to see the light and choose another snack. Promise? Pretty please???

Oh dear, I do hope stone rehab goes well! One day and piece of gravel at a time and soon you’ll be clean. On the plus side you can say you’ve lost stones on your new diet!
Have a wonderful week

Oh dear…that isn’t good to do at all, Lucy. We sure hope you’ll think better of it, next time you find a stone you want to consume…or better yet, give it to your Mommy to make you some stone soup! Glad you are feeling better now…
Did you have to go to the vet??
