My favorite summertime tea drink is a simple mixture of two different teas, steeped together and poured over ice.

No need to add sugar, as both the peppermint and especially the ginger teas have a natural sweetness. And they’re both caffeine-free, so enjoy them any time of the day.

Yes, Sleepytime is great for a pre-bed beverage…although I always end up getting up for the bathroom in the middle of the night if I do that!

Yep, that would make you not want tea for sure!

Your mixture sounds delic. I do like the Rooibos and Oolong so may have to get the other 2. Stevia is the only sweetener we use, too. Yep, ginger’s great for the tummy.

If you use these brands, you’ll find the ginger is sweeter than the peppermint! I love the Yogi ginger tea.

I am a confirmed coffee drinker. We only got tea when we were sick.

I often mix teas together, my latest ‘combo’ is a mix of Hibiscus, Rooibos, Oolong, and Tulsi(Holy Basil)…III make a concentrate using them all, then add more water to taste, and if I want sweetness I add stevia. Lemon juice s also a good add-in. I take a large waterbottle filled with that to my work, its very refreshing and reviving when you are hot and tired…
I shall have to give your combo a try. Maybe just add a couple slices of dried ginger to the peppermint tea? I used to keep lots of crystalized ginger around when I was on Chemo…it sure came in handy! (I would just suck/chew it to a pulp then swallow it.)

Mom loves this idea Xena and Lucy. The peppermint would be sweet and the ginger would add to it but without the sweetness. This is another recipe for the tea book.
Thank you for jumping in and joining in the fun ladies.

We think the adjective “alcoholic” should be in front of “drinks.”
