Lucy: What Am I?

87 days ago (last Thursday) Mom sent my spit through the mail to find out what breeds I am. Why is it taking so long? If I could remember my Dog Mom (my Dad was long gone when I was born) I could have told her that I am a Good Breed Dog. But I can’t and everyone at church wants know what “what I am,” so there you go. Or there my spit goes.

Mom and Dad wrote down what they think the breed mix result is going to be. They’ve hidden them until we find out, and then they’ll see who guessed right, or at least the closest. Do you want to play?

I hope we’ll still be friends no matter what breed(s) I am. Knowing sure won’t make me any different, that’s for sure. (I’ll still be the dog most loved by Pastor!)

  1. Mom has always thought I had some kind of pittish breed in me. And she always says they are some of sweetest, best dogs unless they’re taught to be different! XOX Lucy

  4. Mastiff, hmmm. I don’t think I’m big enough for that. Riley has French Mastiff in him, it’s called Dog du Bordeaux. Nope only a little rain here. We didn’t even know it rained hard further to the west. Your friend, Lucy

  6. Mom doesn’t know a whole lot about dog breeds, but she thinks maybe you have some Pit Bull in you. They get a bad rap but are very nice dogs. Our dad says you are what he calls a Heinz 57 dog, meaning you have lots of breeds mixed up together. Whatever it turns out to me, we will be interested in finding out whether your mom or dad got closer with their guess.   13. Everyone thought Riley had a lot of boxer in him and his results showed only 1.5% boxer, BOL! Mom will share her guess list that’s hidden in the dresser after we get the results back. Gee, I hope I don’t have shih tzu in me…XOX Lucy

  21. We would guess that you might have some boxer or mastiff because of your fur colors and head shape, but you could also have some bully breed in you too. No matter what you are we will still love you. It would be fun to win an all-expenses paid trip to visit you all though. BOL!

  28. Lucy I hope you were paid for involuntarily donating your valuable spit for this test thing! We’re not sure what kinds of doggy types are in your DNA but one thing is for sure – they must all be cute! Just look at you!!!
