Lucy’s Trick or Treating Attempt

Hi friends! I’ve heard it’s the night of ghosts and ghouls, but so far all I’ve seen are my neighbor kids. Maybe it’s just too early

I wonder, maybe I could wear my Halloween scarf and go to houses and get candy.

Hmmm, my kid friends William and Michael are still outside, working in the yard.

Maybe they can tell me how this trick or treating thing works. Come on shadow, let’s go ask.

Me and my shadow are back, Mom. The kids said dogs can’t have chocolate and I should just go home and eat my supper.

Lucy’s Mom: Yes, sweet girl, I’ve got a good supper for you tonight.

Wishing everyone lots of treats and no tricks! (Unless y’all know dog tricks like Chia and Xena, do.)

  4. Aww, Lucy! Too bad they don’t give out doggy treats when you come by. Anyways at least it looks like you got a good feast as dinner, way better than any candy!

  7. Schnauzer Angel Freda ate a whole pound box of chocolate one Christmas season while Mommy was grooming. Someone had set it inside the upstairs door for Mommy, and she never knew who. Long story shorter, after Mommy figured out it was chocolate that Freda was vomitting, she shut her in the kitchen until she was done vomitting. The first thing she did when she got out was went and ate the chocolate she hid BOL!
    So, if nothing else, chocolate make us pups vomit. XOX Xena

  16. I think a good and yummy REAL MEAL is better than any old people candy stuff……..! Sometimes it’s best to stick with the thing you KNOW than to try something that might be totally disappointing!
