Chia’s Thankful Thursday Poem

Thanks to Angel Brian, who is hosting Thankful Thursday, as well as Angel Sammy for the great picture every week.

Hey friends, this is the last Thursday of my birthday month, so I get to do the poem again! Here it is. *big wags*

Will She or Won’t She? by Chia

I like this girl, more than I can say.
I’d be happy if she was mine today.
With a kiss, my feelings I’ll convey.
And hope that she won’t turn me away.

He loves me, the pretty pup thinks.
I hope he holds and kisses me.
I’ll lick his mouth when next he blinks—
Right past his lips! He can’t stop me!

He wipes his mouth, his face turns red.
The pretty girl just laughs with glee.
“That wasn’t quite the kiss,” he said.
Chia grins, “It sure was to me!”

Chia: I love kissing my Mom and Dad like that. It makes them go “blah” and then laugh.I’m thankful they’re my Mom and Dad.

Xena: I’m thankful our folks got Miss Christy to come live with us while they went on vacation to Sand Dee Eggo. She loves us and feeds us and sleeps with us.

Lucy: I’m thankful for a lot of things. That I have my sisters for company. That Mom had me tested and found out I have food allergies. That I get homemade food that I’m not allergic to. That I get to go outside and lay on the carpet on the porch or the grass in the dog lot. And that my Mom and Dad will be home in a few days.

Chia: That’s it for today. Sloppy kisses to everyone…XOXOX Chia, Xena and Lucy

  4. Well Miss Chia that is a FABULOUS poem……I bet that guy was a little surprised but who cares – it was fun right? Right! I bet you all miss your Mom and Dad but it’s nice when the person taking care of you is sweet and loves you and makes sure you are all OK while Mom and Dad have a break. Sending you big huggies!!
