Why does Mom think either one of us is part lab or even Goldens, like Bonnie, Belle and Bessie over at Three Pups and a Couple of Kittens. They love their new pool!
You don’t see the part where Mom “helped” me into the pool. I just kept on going, right out the other side.
Mom was able to get a full refund.
Love and wiggles, a (still) dry Lucy
Apparently, this is how it has always ended when Mom buys a dog a wading pool. Now Dad teases her about it. 🙂 Lucy

My brother doggy was a lab/ Shepherd and he hated water too! It took two of us to give him a bath in the tub. He was terrified of the tub. But if it was warm outside he liked the hose so that was the only time he got a bath-when we could spray him. Luvz, Patzy

Well, little Miss Rosy, Lucy loves to splash in puddles and walk in the rain, too. But the little pool…no way! Xena and Lucy’s Mom

Good try Xena Mama!! Arty and Jakey do NOT like water either, I might like it, I like to stomp in puddles and walk in the rain…but it never gets warm enough here in Northy North California for a pool(we only moved about 15 miles farther South into a bigger place in a quieter neighborhood 🙂

Bwahaha! We know EXACTLY what you mean and we are, technically speaking, water fowl retrieving dogs. We even have webbed feet but would rather set our hair on fire than get into a pool. Glad you managed to stay dry, Lucy and even more glad your mum got a full refund.

Maybe Mom should have put a couple of 37 cent goldfish in the pool…….bet you and Lucy would have had a ball chasing them around in the water.

BOL… oh you made me giggle with memories of my angel Jade… she was NOT a water dog either… yet, at 10 years of age, when ‘granny’ came to stay for a couple of weeks, she was determined to get her grand-dog swimming in the sea. Eventually, there were half a dozen doggie paddles, but that was it. Never before and never thereafter!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
