Xena and Now Lucy’s Adventure Continues

Much later, at least 87 minutes…

Xena: Our front yard’s becoming a jungle.
Lucy: Do you see a giraffe? I think I hear monkeys.

Xena: *Woof! Woof! Woof!* Hey, you! Giraffe! Get outa our yard!

Lucy: *shudder* I hear something coming towards us in this front yard jungle. There’s lots of cats in this neighborhood. Sure hope it’s not a lion or a tiger or even a bear, oh my!

Both: LIONS AND TIGERS AND BEARS, OH MY!

Riley: There you both are. Follow me. I hear the mower coming, and you don’t want to be here.
Lucy: Come on Xena…let’s go!
Xena: Hey Riley, did Chia eat my supper?

Monkey: Screeeeee!

Tiger: Eww, smells like stinkin’ dog around here. Glad they’re gone!

The end.

  2. That was a fun adventure in your tall jungle of grass. Here all summer long its been growing as if it was april. Its hard to keep up with it. We had a huge dump of rain last week, so on Friday *she* wanted to mow it, but it started raining again…and she tried again on Saturday. By then it was so think, it kept clogging the deck…so now there are clods of grass all over, left to rot…and the cut lines are very uneven, because of all that clogging up. Also it took twice as long to get the job done…because she had to cut half swaths to try and keep the clogging at a minimum. And it was HOT. UGH! she has to mow an acre, by a walk behind mower, at least it is self propelled. We wish we could afford a grass/snow service. They might need to arrange that in the future though cause we are not getting any younger! Maybe we need a cow or some goats! Then we can herd them…

  4. I certainly hope the reason all the dogs are gone in the last photo is NOT because they were eaten by a tiger. love that monkey and giraffe best of all. you sure have an interesting yard this week.
