Today we are celebrating Dr. Seuss. We took a vote. Chia, don’t interrupt me because you weren’t there when we voted. We’re going to ask Angel Sammy to help us today. Sammy joined the family in 1992 as a friend and companion to Mommy’s first schnauzer, Freda.
Angel Sammy used to love to go pontoon boating on the Tennessee River with Mommy. He would jump in the water and swim to a nearby island to play for a while. He always waited until he knew Mommy was looking at him before he started swimming back out to the boat. Then she would lift him back in. OK Angel Sammy, whatcha got?

Java Bean: “Ayyy, Chia, you must always try to be present when voting happens! Otherwise you never know what the outcome might be! For instance, one time when Dada was in school he was not present for a vote and that was how he ended up getting railroaded into being on the Student Council!”

Sammy had one big and fun personality that didn’t fully emerged until the schnauzer who ruled him passed.

LOVE Dr. Seuss!!!!! Loved getting those books from the library when I was in elementary school 60 years ago. I found one of my favs a few months ago in a vintage collection. I treasure it!!

What a sweet flashback for Sunday Selfies on Dr. Seuss Day. Angel Sammy looks like he was a FUN guy! I’m sure he watches over all of you every single day.
