Before I Got Double-Grounded

I am not allowed loose outside at all now, not since I ran away once or twice or was it four or five times? I’ve lost count. So I like to remember how much fun I used to have playing outside with Riley.

 

 

We hunted for the best sticks and carried them around together.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And tried to take them away from each other.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And played tug-of-war.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sometimes we chased each other.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And played tug-of-war some more.

 

 

 

 

Pleasantly exhausted, we would finish the day with a good nap together. Just me and my guy. *sigh* Before I got double-grounded.

  5. BOL! They should load you with lots of new xmas presents to distract you from running away! Plus with the weather getting a lot colder, you don’t want to run away and get lots out in the cold!

  7. hello lucy its dennis the vizsla dog hay oh no gitting duble grownded sownds like no fun!!! i got grownded forever too wen i tried to dig owt frum under the fense i am stil allowd owt bak in the fensed yard on my own but only wen sumbuddy is home with me!!! ennyway running off on yore own and gitting lost isnt fun eether for yoo or for yore mama!!! perhaps eventchooally yoo wil be off double grownding and git to play agin but for now it shoor duz sownd like fun to reliv those gud times!!! not the running away times the other times!!! ok bye

  9. Oh noooooo!!! Double grounded?? That sucks!! But Christmas is coming around the corner, doesn’t that make humans all cheery and forgiving?? Maybe your mom will let you off before Christmas is here!

  13. Hi Miss Patzy. Thank you for visiting with me. You seem really nice and caring. Mom says she has to believe that I won’t run off again before I am without leash outside. I am not yet sure myself, so maybe it will be a bit longer…

  16. Lucy, we can’t blame ya for wanting to run off but you could get lost or hurt or dog-napped at any time. You know deep down it is because your peeps love you. You just have to be more creative in getting those peeps it’s a good idea to let you run off-leash. And then don’t get into trouble when you do get to run and play freely.

    I don’t get to go out at all but I have plenty of windows and mommy playtime. Just try to be good so you stay safe. And be a good example to your little sister,
