A Scammy Awww Monday

Thanks to  Comedy Plus for hosting Awww Mondays!

Xena: Look! I got mail today!

It says, “To the Xena Sandy.” That’s me! I think I’ll take it inside to open it.

Chia: What’s that, Xe?
Xe: It’s my mail.

Xena: I can’t read it.
Chia: That’s cause it’s upside down.
Xena: I think I’m getting 199 treats.

Mom Amy: When my miniature schnauzer started getting urgent notices about her mortgage, I knew something was wrong. Apparently, Xena, owns our house now. She also received a “Final Notice” about her mortgage from a company that admits—in the fine print—that it isn’t affiliated with our credit union. Also, we no longer have a mortgage…

I took the notice to TVFCU (Tennessee Federal Credit Union) and gave it to them to scan and send out to all their clientelle. Not everyone has a Xena to tip them off.

  1. Apparently, Xena, owns our house now.

No, it’s ALWAYS belonged to her. She just didn’t tell you. By the way, she sending a notice of eviction unless the treats volume increases significantly.

  2. Hard up scammers resorting to stuffing mailboxes now. As if the scams of our phones and computer aren’t enough. Long time ago yes even back then…I got mail addressed to Rev Ingrid R…LOL, LOL! We showed it to our then pastor, and he got a huge laugh out of it.

Xena, and Chia, you two are good at making sure everything that comes in the mailbox is not deceitful like that one!

  3. We’ve gotten this, they are trying to scare you into buying a home warranty with them, trying to make it look like your current warranty is expiring and you have to renew now. It’s awful as some people think it’s an actual bill.
